Connector on door panel tweeter(s) impossible to release??

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to remove my door panels on my 2015 w212 and in every video and tutorial I've seen they just unplug the tweeters from the main door harness with no difficulty at all, but when I try to do so it feels impossible without absolutely forcing it and breaking something. No tabs or anything I can see to press down on to make it easier either. Has anyone else run into this or am I just being stupid?? 😭 going crazy because I've spent 2 hours pulling on this thing with no luck and searching through the internet for a single comment about it.

See the attached pictures for reference to the connector

So just keep pulling and wiggling? Thanks I was just worried because it feels like it isn't meant to and will break

Any identifying marks to help find the manufacturer? You would think there is a procedure or a tool available.

do not ever pull on the undersized wires only the black plastic
help with a flat blade screw driver or a pick.

While you're inside the door panel... do take 5mn to solder all the loose pins from the door modules.
These slow DCU cause battery drain while parked.

disconnect chassis battery before unplugging any module else it triggers a fault that need clearing.
