Need a little help.
I purchased a 2014 E220 AMG Line Sport 2.1D automatic yesterday, 156k miles
As I was driving home, I was giving it a bit of revs doing around 90, with the speed tronic limit active (set at 70), I hit the throttle pedal to where it clicks and overrides the limiter set, I then noticed it started to cancel out my foot on the throttle and I was slowing down, I believe this is the active speed assist, correct me if I’m wrong.
As soon as it slowed me down, I noticed I couldn’t get into Manual mode (flappy panels wouldn’t work) I only had Sport or ECO mode. I did pull over in services restarted the car and this worked again. Also the engine management light was on before I pulled over. The service b due in 600 miles also popped up.
Im not sure if it’s me or I’m being paranoid, but maybe my gear changes feel a little slow or laggy?
If anyone has a video of their car driving with the gear changes that’d help
I will take it to get plugged in to see what the light is for, but knowledge is power so thought I’d ask in here first.
Thanks, Louis.

Likely something todo with back pressure sensor...

Ask for an estimate while at the MB specialist so you can get back on the road shortly.
It is to be expected the engine degrade shifts qualities when throttle is less than predictable from active faults.

also it mentions about low boost, but until I change the auxiliary battery tomorrow I won’t know much more
