Active bonnet actuator issues
Hello Everyone, I've recently bought an E250 petrol ( w212) circa 2015. It was involved in an accident under prev. owner. Garage selling it on didn't do a good job in repairing the Actuators. They really bodged it installing resistors to existing wiring. Now I'm faced with having to replace both actuators. MB cost is £650+VAT EACH!. Is there another way ( there usually is) to effect replacement and still have the actuators working as they should?

USA market does not use these hood safety parts.
