Blue Tooth - Gone
Got new mobile phones and found out my new phones may not connect to my Nov. 2009 manufacturer date 2010 E 350. Was doing wife's 2014 Nissan Rogue and Nissan says only phones manufactured in 2020 or before will work with their systems.
Assume the same applies to a 15 year old M-B. Haven't tried it yet as it has always been a formidable task in the past. Did email MBUSA to see what they say, but have not heard yet.
Is there any type of inexpensive device to link the new cell to the old M-B Blue Tooth?
Had to replace my garage door opener and ran into same problem with it. They do sell a device to link the new opener to the Home Link in M-B.

You can try to pair car & phone - See if that works.
Some cars offer BT Music streaming (NTG-4.5) perhaps yours does else you will have only handsfree calling.

Worked!
). Have paired four other phones in the past and each time it took 30-45 minutes. I don't use phone in car except for calling or getting calls and very seldom then. Not a believer in using phones while driving.
