Best Diagnostic tool for W212
I recently got a 2011 E350 with 70k miles.. I got a couple of gremlins I am chasing.
1. Aux battery malfunction- Ordered a new one of them
2. Recently had motor mounts replaced along with transmission mounts
3. Cv axle replaced
Current issue: If I hard accelerate sometimes, I get a message that the
Esp Inoperative See Owners Manual
Car losses boost,limp mode. I turn car off and back on and back on road with no errors.
Googling tells me that some people have had various fixes for this. 1 guy said it was his key fob battery. Another said throttle body, while several mentions replacing the pedal.
The codes apparently only persist when this happens. So, I want to get the best diag tool that will ensure I can see these codes when I go out and recreate this issue?

If you’re quite handy, then a Launch reader is a good option. Reads MB codes, and can do some basic coding.
If you’re not that familiar, then a Benz Ninja membership might be a better solution. Having an experienced expert assisting could be a major benefit.

If you have other cars, you can upgrade the unit. Mine does MB/BMW/VW-Audi.

The biggest downside to the Launch is that it is rather slow. Pricier models are faster.
Launch includes lifetime updates for the brands purchased.
