Dear Air Suspensinon - I HATE you.....

So, pump in one of the cars go bad...take the pump out of another car, put it into the car (AMG) I prefer to drive, order a new pump, put the pump back in the other car...life is good. Then.....

I get another pump, they are cheap. I also decide to put in a new solenoid (Using RMT parts). The solenoid does not stay connected, hoses pop out (I blame RMT). So, the solenoid that was on the car was working perfect so I will put it back on - WRONG. The hoses pop out!

I spend days finding the right brass fittings for the solenoid. No luck - the hoses pop out. I cut off some of the hose to get a nice clean STRAIGHT section...they hold - and now air is leaking from the solenoid body as I screwed up the plastic threads on the body. Teflon tape as a theory, no help.

Now I have the RMT solenoid back on order...and now I need to replace some of the (smaller) tubing under the car - I assume one to each wheel, cant be that hard to run.

My hunt for the connectors was long - who has the MB number for the hose? I know it comes as a roll - but, what is the number? Anyone know?

I have now tried three tunes from Amazon / eBay...none are identical to what is on the car....BUT....on the stock tube I (for the time being) got the car up and driving by zip tying the solenoid to its bracket due to shortend hoses.

I replaced one of my entire lines with this tubing, (10 feet I think) going from the solenoid to the front right strut. It was a pretty big pain finding good routing and hiding under heat shields/body panels etc. I had been using a coupler under the battery tray for a couple years where the factory line had frayed and it never held completely air-tight. The suspension would sag over a couple of days. But I am finally leak free.
