Disabling ECO

I recently purchased a Launch Creader elite V2.0 which I am a newbie at using. For starters some guidance is needed on how to disable ECO.

You need to poke around to discover what settings your particular car is exposing - This HACKING is not obvious nor straight forward.

You need to poke around to discover what settings your particular car is exposing - It varies by year, chassis and engine.
This HACKING is not simple.

poke around as much as needed ... it's well worth fixing.

> Suggested course...:
Tag along it's easy to get lost. Nobody elses car options match yours.

-- Inventory what "variant coding" options your chassis has (many different implementations)

-- BACKUP or note down your original settings.

-- Experiment what you want:
  • Try the new settings
  • Take notes of what you're changing
  • Test as needed.
  • Repeat setting

You need a simple way to back-track on your own if something goes wild
else you will need to pay a specialist to SCN your issue back to factory specs for YOUR OWN VIN OPTIONS.

Many ppl have done this successfully.

But if you're not comfortable doing the coding yourself, even with the info provided in the threads on this forum, find a gearhead in your local MB car club chapter to lend a hand.
