I saw the new E yesterday. I'm not crazy about the looks. Next to a w212, it looks too conservative and definitely uninspired. This is of course my subjective opinion. Maybe the AMG version will look more alive.

Sometimes the sport version of a car is the best looking (Amg)
I remember the 1994-1999 maxima... The sport SE version was the only version that looked good ... Life was so simple back then and 0-60 in 6.6 seconds was impressive

E400 Wagon
In Canada at least according to MB own website there are only 3 available models for the wagons. E450 - 362hp, E53 - 429hp and E63 - 603hp. As far as sedans go for E, there is the basic E300 which is the old 4 banger 241hp and the E450, E53 and E63. Nothing about the E43 but there is a C43 which presumably will be the same engine they will stick into the E.

E43 was replaced by the E53 as of 2019MY. I think it was slightly better than the C43 horsepower wise (C43 is around 390hp for 2019 and E43 was 396). I think it was the same V6 engine in both cars but I’m not really sure.
