when I drove the demo, the "hood" over the screens was making the same noise. I hope my new e class doesn't have to through the same process

LI82.30-P-064587 AUG16 – 213 wiper blades scraping or squeaking, under analysis. Replace wiper and adjust wiper blades, create PTSS case. Advise customer to not use any sort of wax cycle in an automatic car wash, and to not use any sort of water beading product on the windshield.

Increased resistance at connection of NOx sensor due to potential moisture, check if center console carpeting or felt is damp. LI82.85-P-064727 AUG16 – 213 NTG5.5 vehicle positioning inaccurate (may drift away from road although vehicle is still on the road) and/or route guidance not possible. Faulty GPS antenna as indicated by fault codes + update COMAND control unit software if needed.

Service Campaign 2016100001 OCT16 - 2017 213 under certain loading conditions the rear seat bench seat frame could damage the wiring harness to the fuel system control module depending on the affected wire, it could affect the operation of the fuel pump, the fuel tank pressure sensor, or the fuel gauge. Should the fuel pump fail, the fuel supply to the engine would stop and the engine could subsequently stall. Dealer will repair/reroute harness. Approximately 6,858 vehicles are involved.
LI46.35-P-065046 OCT16 – 213 except 4matic “Steering Malfunction See Owner’s Manual”, water entry into steering gear through damaged boot or possible software error. Check steering gear, perform software update.

Recall Campaign 2017030003 MAR17 – 2017 213, front passenger seat occupancy control module might be incorrectly installed which could kink pressure hose when seat is moved towards rearmost and lowest position resulting in deactivating passenger airbag. Dealer should create a PTSS case for MB technical assistance. Approximately 12,454 vehicles affected.
Service Campaign 2017010004 MAR17 – 2017 213, incorrect nut & washer may have been installed on stabilizer bar to the steering knuckle this may lead to noises while driving. Dealer will replace. Approximately 6 vehicles affected.
