E43 AMG ordered, yay!
Ordered my first AMG last week, E43, fully loaded :-)
Cant't wait! Never had a 0-60 under 5 seconds car before. I was thinking about C63, but after testdriving the new E-Class I had no doubt. Hopefully the V6 biturbo will meet my expectations.
I live in Norway, but my plan is to pick it up at the factory in Sindelfingen, hopefully right before christmas :-) It's a 15 hour drive from where I live, and I get to drive it home on the autobahn ;-)

Yeah, the 2017 update looks awesome (especially the interior). I can't wait to see what they do with the new E63s.
I test drove an E300. The performance is marginal at best. It reminds me of my mid-70's 5 cyl E300D. Too bad the AMG 2.0L with 375 HP isn't offered in the E Class.
I really wish that the E400 would be released in the US. I'll probably end up buying either an MY17 E43 or a MY18 BMW 540i. Both should hit the US market near March 1, 2017.

I configured an E43 with similar equipment for a list of about $74k not counting the P03 package that isn't priced yet. It is important to note that the E43 has the 12.3" wide instrument display, Nappa leather, 19" wheels, 4Matic and air body control as standard.
The bottom line is that the price difference will be about the cost of P03.
That puts the price close to $90k. A matte finish and 3D sound will add another $10k.

I was going back and forth too, my first order was for a october build 4-cylinder, but I couldn't stop thinking about that 400hp V6...
dealer told me he had to make sure the P3 package is available for that order as well (due to lack of P3 supply). Fingers crossed!
Fingers crossed!
I agree with these guys... I don't think you will regret it

Production around mid November.
