According to the seller, you can't use the device on another car. I guess the manufacturer (presumably the seller) did this so you can't sell the device to another MB owner once you've used it on your car.

I bought the MBITO dongle to disable the Start/Stop Permanently.

They run sales often, I would suggest you wait till there is one an buy it. There is also all sorts of cool stuff you can unlock.

Most of MB's can be coded with 'Last Mode memory" function, why would want to disable Permanently?

For mine, I tried all of the methods but the MBITO option worked for me because it remembers the last function, which is OFF. Maybe I was doing something wrong when trying to do it before hand as I wasn't successful as it would re-set back to ON when I would cycle the key.

Personally I see no benefit of start/stop function outside of whatever the manufacturers require, so even if it was disabled/erased permanently, I wouldn't miss it.

2023 E450A Cab, BMW R1200RT cycle

Thanks for the info. I'm hesitant to change the coding unless it has been proven effective on a 2023 E450 (W213), especially since the car is still in warranty.
