Fragrance dispenser
Did anyone's car come with a scent or at least an empty bottle for the dispenser? My dealer is saying you have to purchase these additional, even though they are features on the car. They've not been the most upfront through my whole process so was curious if anyone else knows the real answer

I figured they were lying. I'll make sure they put one in. Not happy with my first benz purchase so far (well i love the car but not the process I've gone through with the dealer). Will make sure to let them know I'll include all these issues on my customer survey.

My car came with one bottle, which the dealer installed at the time I took delivery of the car. I love the smell!

The dealer told me I had to purchase but that really seemed crazy to me...While cleaning out the trunk of my new car with my stuff from the old car I found a plastic bag in there which included some safety vest which are designed to fit in a part of the door packet...The fragrance bottle was in a box in the same bag.....I installed in couple minutes. Very expensive to replace so use it sparingly.....Also cuts down the room in the glove box.

Those bottles are crazy expensive.... I wonder if you can source a refill somewhere other than MB? The bottles just open up (assuming it's like the 222 ones) and could be refilled with anything you chose.

What a gimmick...The P1, P2, P3 packages are structured so a monkey can sell you a car. It is the height of irony that the dealerships are then able to pay minimum hourly wages plus a small commission for cheaply trained sales staff while extracting from you thousands you would otherwise not spend, just to get one or two desirable option features.
And, then they tell you a bottle of fragrance is extra? It seems natural enough to me.

My sales person even gave me an extra one free of charge. As SFL4U2 mentioned, check the trunk or spare tire storage area, the bottle might be there along with some other stuffs.

Mine came with a flacon of freeside mood installed.
In the trunk there was a small package with 4 samples (pacific mood, sports mood, downtown mood, and nightlife mood). There's only 1.2mL in each little vial so I'm assuming its a sampler so you can try before you by the full flacon.
