I tried it yesterday but car did not receive it, nor was it stored under POI.
it's a hit & miss, like the MP app ...

REMOTE START

HI,

I went back to the dealer and the remote has been working since they recommended this. THE KEY IS TO TURN OFF YOUR PHONE EACH DAY AND THEN LOG BACK IN. I was having the same problems as everyone else and that has fixed it.

I log in every time. No need to turn off phone. Just untick the box that says "Stay logged in for 120 days."

I managed to download the app (as not available here in the local App Store) and went to enter the VIN number but the app doesn’t recognise it - so guess it only works for US cars?

Mercedes and other manufacturers could easily put in starting devices that are non subscription. I did with a after markets

Most aftermarket remote start systems have a very limited range of less than a mile.

New Zealand - and the dealers aren’t that accommodating here - perhaps there is a nice dealer here that would add my VIN ?

CLS-500, SL-500, BOXSTER-S

Just picked up my E coupe and during the dealer walkthrough, I was told the remote start only works 3x per day (USA)!
I live in a very warm climate and will be using it quite a bit. Anyone else know about any remote start limitations?

My autostart never works when it's hot or cold outside. I call them and they say they are upgrading the system, and then it works for a couple of weeks. And then it doesn't work. I was on hold today, and they have a very *****y recording that repeats every 15 seconds. I was on hold for 25 minutes, and so I heard the recording 100 times. They now say it's a satellite problem. OMG I hate this company. DON'T BUY A BENZ.
