Seatbelt Fraying
Anyone have issues with the seatbelt edge fraying faster than any other vehicle? I wear a lot of zipper jackets, and I guess it is taking its toll on the specific part of the seatbelt around my chest area. Im surprised by this since I never really had an issue with my w204 C class that I drove for 8 years. Im a bit peeved about this.

Since a frayed seat belt is a safety issue, I do believe that the dealer will replace them under warranty, no questions asked.

Yes, I will b sure to bring it up on my 10K mile service. I just thought it was weird that it was prematurely failing. I might be a bit OCD and would consider this an issue. Other people might not as it isn't entirely too terrible.

FWIW, anything that is safety related has a 10 year warranty per US law. Many dealers are unaware of this and often manufacturer's reps aren't familiar with this. Saved myself $3k for airbag controls which failed on my Infiniti by knowing this.
