E43 Tune/ performance mods

Yeah it is def not 10k more lol and where are you guys getting minor increases in power? Both the E43 and E63 are biturbo and gain 100hp with a tune, so I do not know where you guys are getting your info from haha. I don't see triple digit hp gains as "minor"

OE Tuning C63 AMG
E43 ECU Tune SAALE
I'm liking the oe tuning option http://www.oetuning.com/products/mer...s-benz-e43-amg
With the year end sale, the $/hp is very competitive.

Obviously the price is appealing because that is the only way to distract people from the fact that AMR's tune is better lol 100 more whp and a motor warranty? I rather pay the extra for a higher power/warrantied tune. No offense to you guys, but you get what you pay for

Just had my wife’s 2018 E43 tuned by dealer (TampaBay) they use Kleeman I think and doesn’t void warranty. I also did catless down pipes. It sounds fantastic. At cruising same as stock. When you put your foot in it quite bit louder about same time and now idea what the other poster is taking about. It’s not overly raspy and tone didn’t really change. Just louder under throttle and sounds great. Taking off stock mufflers and resonators is stupid and will drone every time.
overall quite happy with the combo. It feels lot faster but on top end not as dramatic a change as when had my SL 63 tuned. Good amount more torque but the HP isn’t as big a deal. Overall though it rips 0-60 now. Would bet it’s in high 3 second range.

MBWorld Fanatic!
From what I understand, the M276 DE 30 LA variants' power increases were not achieved by software tuning alone.
The 329hp variant was released first, so it's not de-tuned from anything.
The 362hp variant has a lower compression ratio and increased boost from the 329hp variant.
The 396hp(US)/401hp(EU) variant has larger capacity turbos and increased boost from the 362hp variant.
There may be more differences between the variants I'm not aware of also, but since this thread is about the E43, they all had the same engine specs (2017-2018 396hp/401hp).

Before you imply that someone else here is stupid, which is not cool, you may want to verify your own understanding.

Hello good afternoon,
I was once told that the engine from the c43 to the e43 had different internals. As well as the pistons that would be forged. But I'm not sure.

I have the same problem, at low speed there is no noise. It looks like a normal version like the c200.
