2017 E400 Sedan Review (we get them in Canada)

Just ordered mine about 2 weeks ago in Vancouver, the dealer rep specifically told me that there would be IR glass + roller blinds, and they showed me two cars with and without sun protection package, the glass on them do look different =)

i guess we will see when my car arrives, ill take pics after. i specifically asked because on mb canada website, e300 can not be configured with the roller blinds, and the sun protection package would only give u ir glass. So i went do the dealership and asked, was surprised that it is still available but not for cars made before mar 2017.

My E43 car on order has the sun package. However, I doubt it has IR glass. It has the blinds and green tinted glass. Green tinted glass doesn't necessarily mean IR glass.

I'm in my car now (not driving). The glass is regular. I have the sun package and it's an electric sun shade for back window and manual side window rollers. It's very nice quality and works great but glass is regular.
Now that's not to say they have altered it for 2018 or made a change. But unless shown otherwise my glass looks like any other car.
What I would have loved to order was acoustic glass. Alas not offered at least not yet.

mine is a 2018 model, it won't arrive until september, ill take photos of the glass as soon as i get the car. However I'm sure its not a deal breaker, just a little nice bonus thats all.
