On the progressive screen gliding mode is shown as a lttle sailboat that replaces the E icon

On the AMG vehicle display you get an animation of gree riples aroud the car
Unfortunately I cant upload the vid directly

I've sailed in E on progressive but not seen the boat. It could be a later software update. Used to sail a lot in the w213 E300 hybrid, could do last two miles to home on battery/gravity only. No sail boat on that either though its handling reminded me of one sometimes.

Btw, what's the screen in the centre console? The one showing eco +/- 1? I don't recall having anything like that. The amgs do seem to have a few more bells and whistles in the software

In general i have eco mode as i find gearshifts too sluggish and reluctant to kickdown or let me accelerate with any haste. Used to drive me nuts in the e300 hybrid as that only had eco and sport and as soon as it was in sport you couldn't run electric only so totally ruined the point of lightly hybridised car. But grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i hated the throttle lag in E on that thing. Nothing like as bad in the w213 but still really annoys me so hardly ever use it.

Think of eco on the 43 as comfort on the 300. The car is never flat footed.

Not at all, its completely transparent. If you didnt have the signals you wouldn't kow anything was going on. 9G tronic is a perfect match with the 4. With the 6 its like angels singing! Amazing match.

Its one of the AMG dynamic screens. It shows the suspension and steering angle as well as the ride level all in real time, quite cool. The other screen is the real time engine stats. AMG add ons to impress the kiddies. The one I really appreciate is the HUD RPM display.
BTW eco also fives you the perfect slammed look since as you can see on the screen since the suspension is in the lowered setting.

us regular folk get the same screen but without the suspension info, maybe that comes with airmatic. I assume on sport and above you also get the G meter rings like we do? Bit of an overkill on a diesel saloon but fun nonetheless.

Havent checked in sport plus yet! Seems there is no end to the eye candy! I get the rings on the main progressive display under the amg menu.

Here are the screens

Comfort

Sport

Sport plus

As you can see in sport + the g meter is superimposed.

The G meter on the dash progressive mode

BTW, when putting the car in sport + while standing still you'd better make sure the brake is firmly applied since the car wants to take off.
