Nappa leather staining

Is anyone having issues with their leather staining? I have no idea why but the seats and door handles seem to be lightly stained where people are sitting and touching the car. It isn't coming off easily, so I will take it to Mercedes to see what they say

staining to what color? Jeans are usually the main culprit. I vowed never to buy another non black interior car ever again because of this issue.

What interior do you have? Can you post photos?

The problem is the jeans! Buy prewashed or faded ones and problem solved. I cant stand all black interiors they look boring. Its the only thing I had to swallow when I bought my s2k. I will also never ever buy a black car either, I was a slave to it. The designo flat paint is a billion times easier to maintain. Everything seems to simply wash off and a 5minute spray wax makes it look like it just got out of the factory for more than a month. . 4 mths of driving in the upper Midwest and still not a single paint pit or blemish, amazing stuff. In fact, after buying my first designo paint car, I probably will never buy another with out it.

I love that Meguiar's spray polish you recommended, c4004matic. Absolutely nothing sticks to it. I did my car 3 weeks ago and it is still clean despite the daily rain storms.

I only recommend Mercedes own car care products and thats one reason why I use them myself, this Leather cleaner is great and I use it every other cleaning.

Probably a wise idea given that if it damages the interior, its their fault. In my experience I essentially never clean the leather unless it has been soiled. In fact, cleaning leather too much is bad for it. In drier, hotter climates a light touch up with a lanolin conditioner every year or so should be good too.

Using too agressive cleanesrs that would be the case but the cleaner I displayed above has a moisturizing conditioner in it as well, applied with a microfiber cloth it looks and feels spanking new afterwards.

My 10 year old daily driver has a light beige interior with light beige floor mats. I clean the car inside and outside including the leather once a month. It looks as good as new with no stains, discoloration or cracks/creases in the leather. I use Mercedes car care products, but I've had the car professionally detailed 3 times in 10 years.

I have read that for new or near new leather trims, all you need to do is to do a gentle wipe down with warm damp cloth ?

I tried that on a BMW cabriolet I owned about 15 years ago. The leather dried out and cracked within 2 years due to the direct tropical sunlight.
That is when I started using MB care products on all of my cars.
