Hahaha. I knew Selenite would be the most popular color and I still ordered it. I really like it but I think it is a bit too dark. Dallas has 110F days sometimes and parking a dark car out when it is sunny makes for a miserable return. For a re-do I would get the Diamond Silver Metalic. 96% of all Mercedes are white, black, or 50 shades of gray I was told at the factory.

As for someone being allowed to have my car, I will spare the details but here is the short version: My salesman put in the order for my car as Euro Delivery. A rookie manager came in a overwrote my order and sold the car to someone else. When I showed up in Sindelfingen, my car was NOT there. Indeed, someone else was allowed to have my car, literally.

If you reorder, get the Acoustic Comfort package - PAF. It is perfect for hot climates. My car doesn't get hot when sitting in the Florida sun for a few hours.

MB Canada told me today that my two cars are ready to ship. Should be at the dealer early next week. Now I have to wait and see if this is true or just a promise. I also asked about the free maintenance that the E63 owners are getting. No answer about that.

Good news. One of my cars should be in Montreal tomorrow and should be at my dealer by Thursday. The other one was showing ready for shipping in Halifax. The long wait is coming to an end.........thankfully.

When did you order yours? Are you getting e43 first or e63?

Cars were ordered last Feb. They are both E43's.

They are both here. Pick up the black one tomorrow and the wife will pick up the white on Monday. It's been a long wait. I hope it was worth it.
