E400 Sedan
I placed my order in July, with P3, was told October production date. Then was told ordered was changed by factory removing P3. Ordered changed back to include P3 and now they are saying first week of December. Dealer claims they are being told delay is related to supply constraints on the P3 package. So now I'm having to play the waiting game.

They have priced it to SELL, it's only $3450 more than the E3004matic. There is absolutely NOTHING to debate here, even Stevie Wonder can see the E400 is the ONLY choice between it and the E3004 Matic. The price will nudge up slightly when it becomes the E450 for the 2019 model year and the new I6 is added.

I agree, this is a very small additional cost. BMW charges over $5K for the 6 cal compared to the 4 cal. Now we just have to wait. My car which I ordered in July won’t be built until first week of December. Originally was supposed to be here in October. I had to have the B service performed on my 2012 E350 and they tell me it will soon need brakes and rotors all around. Wasting money on a car I’m trading in and on a car I should have traded in soon.. I’m not happy.

Does anyone have a locked in production date? I have a scheduled build the first week of December, but the order is not Locked according to my dealer. They say they hope to delivery the car by Christmas. Als, with the website still not updated to include the E400 I’m having some doubts about seeing this car

I talked to my dealer yesterday and he mentioned a December build for another customer to be delivered in February. he told me we will pull the trigger on my build 3rd week of November for a April 1 delivery.

Eighteen weeks seems like a long wait after it is built for delivery. Where are you located? The time from my build to delivery to the VPC in Bainbridge took 3 weeks. The car was held there for an update. All totaled delivery to Florida took 7 weeks.
