Hi Egonvdv, I'm new here, and I want to know if you already solve the problem (activation of the engineering mode) using the "workshop" menu? I can reach this workshop menu too, but I'm not able to activate the engineering mode by pressing 10sec. any bottom (I speak french too). Thank you. gabi741
only the dealer can do it, if they know how to… and if they are willing
as posted above, my dealer doesn't even know about the menu (or they pretend not to know)
Do you have COMAND online with the 12" screen or the other system with the smaller screen? They are two different systems, and likely have different commands.

The engineering menu must be enabled using MB proprietary diagnostic hardware/software. In the US that ability is restricted to the regional level and above. Dealers cannot do it.
This worked on my GLB250 2020. But Vehicle Functions is empty just like its in the video. Any idea why? This seems like dealer menu and not engineering menu.
I encountered the same problem in the US. MBUSA told my dealer that they were not allowed to enable the engineering menu and would not give them the specifics to do so. The only method is via bootleg software - Vediamo and Xentry with the appropriate parameter files.
I have the C238 car with NTG5.5 from USA market. Tapping of controller during 10 sec in "Settings" icon not works. But works tapping during 10 sec in "Car" icon.
And I found out in "GPNSS Antenna test" the big list of available navigation systems. But in UA are visible only GPS and russian Glonass
