Brake judder
I have it on AMG line brakes. Didn't start till much higher mileage than yours,I think the bigger brakes are susceptible to it but better than the standard ones. Mercedes currently offering only 50 precent discount on new pads and discs so I'm putting up with the judder till more cases become known, hopefully they'll exchange them for free then.

I have this issue also, usually at around 40mph and decreasing. Had new brakes and discs added. All AMG/Merc ones. Just got tyres changed and alignment done, still juddering! Can someone please advise as MB will undoubtedly refuse to accept the issue is theirs. Vehicle is 4 years old with 53k on the clock

Had it fixed under warranty, but seems problem is returning.
it's def not the heat; i got my car in august 2017 and temps were around 30c during summer (nothing excessive )
apparently it's the adaptive cruise control...????

Additional weight of the run flat tires and it also throws the alignment out. I replaced my run flat tires with regular tires and had alignment done and my car drives like a S class now. Absolutely love driving my car now. Just did a one way 544 mile nonstop road trip
which run flats did you have and which did you replace with? also, what made you ultimately swap them out? were you just unsatisfied with the ride quality?

I replaced them with 4 new Bridgestone Quiet Track non run flat tires and had alignment done. Car drives like a dream. Tires come with a 80,000 miles warranty. I couldn’t be happier and it cost me what I would have paid for replacing 2 of the Continental run flat tires.
I purchased a 3 ton floor jack and placed that under my trunk with a full size spare in my trunk. I had changed my original rims with aftermarket then I used one on the run flat tires from the rear that was still good so no additional cost there. I am alone in my car 99% of the time so loosing trunk space doesn’t matter to me
I also had purchased wheels and tires warranty and canceled that. It was prorated for 2 years. The money I received covered everything with a couple hundred to spare so made sense for me. Car drives like a S class now and I couldn’t be happier

this brake judder remains a complete mystery to me.
as advised before they changed the discs twice and since then i have not had any problems anymore.
but last Sunday i was driving for about 30 minutes when all of a sudden in started again.
however, when i drove back home later that day all was well again & still is.
you tell me…???

sorted..
long story but Mercedes finally identified it was an issue with the wheel refurb process. I bought a new wheel and not had issue since in over a year. Of course, the original dealer wouldn't accept blame but, the car is sorted.
My local dealer said it was an issue on other refurb wheels as well on other models so could be to blame.for your ongoing issue.

My local dealer said it was an issue on other refurb wheels as well on other models so could be to blame.for your ongoing issue.

im telling you, its the worst Benz i had so far, if the next generation of classes, like the 2021 C class, E , S, doesn't fix all these issues and start really driving and feeling like a benz again - I am going to leave the brand.
Somebody mentioned a while back that going through the car wash and getting the brakes wet is what was blamed for damage to the rotors and the brakes. I can believe it. I notice after I'd gone through the car wash and then parked the car the auto emergency brake applies to the rear wheels and the next time I drive the car the pads are frozen stuck to the rotors and the car makes a heck of a noise when you try to pull forward as the brake pads become detached from the rotors. The car wash is a 5 mile drive home so you'd think that would be enough to dry off the calipers brakes and rotors, nope. So my solution from now on since where I park the car in my garage is flat I leave the Electronic E brake off at least for that one night after parking it after I've gone through the car wash. I could tell if I didn't do anything I was gonna end up with damage to the rear brakes. That sticking effect did not sound very healthy for the rear brakes. To leave the e brake off you turn the car off and turn the ignition to the on position without starting the car and pull the e brake lever and when you turn the ignition off again the e brake will not be engaged. I would not suggest doing this if you park on an incline as it would not be healthy for you're trans or the car could break loose and pose a safety risk.

my theory would be a very high metal content in the brake pads and they are corroding to the rotors overnight after going through the car wash the day before. The interesting thing is it only seems to happen when I get the upgraded car wash with the extra chemicals. When I get the regular car wash which is just soap and water the brakes seem fine the next day. Something is not reacting well with the brake pads or calipers after the car wash and making them stick. Infact it actually probably is the calipers and not the brake pads that are sticking the more I think about and then some brake pad residual is left on the rotors and cakes up causing the vibrations.

as stated before and in other threads; they replaced mine 4 times.
sometimes it came back immediately & sometimes after several months

nothing is going to fix the problem. its just bad engineering... is my opinion at least haha

on top of that i have a indoor garage and i personally never washed the car during the 24k miles... only like 5 times when it has been in service for like 5 times for a month each! This car is killing me. only a year left now on the lease.
The ebrake is applied automatically. Although if your having a problem with the front brakes the e brake would have nothing to do with it as e brake is just the rears. 21 k miles on my wagon so far and pads look like new and no pulsating rotors. I guess I got lucky.
I've never had an issue with (lightly used) brakes. The pads are very lightly worn according to the last inspection. The car has been in service 2 years 4 months with about 10k miles of 100% city driving.
