COMMAND system crashes and reboots

2017 E400 wagon
COMMAND system crashes and reboots

happened already twice in the past month. both times using android auto with waze. anyone else seen this? any ideas?

Are you sure that it is not Android Auto that is crashing? I tried AA and had issues so I don't use it.

yes. COMMAND crashes and reboots. Now, maybe AA/waze can cause it to crash - but thats not a comforting thought about COMMAND stability

You may have to go to Mercedes Service for updates.

This happened to us twice on a 6 hour road trip. Like the OP, the command system went black, crashed, then re-booted when using Android Auto and Waze running. I was going to take it in but I could never get it to repeat at the dealer. Still if anyone got a firmware update or something else that addresses this I'd sure like to know!
