Weird green leak in boot

Hi All - Have had a weird damp smell from boot for past few months on a 2017 W213. Today decided investigate and opened the plastic cover on ride hand side in boot space near rear fuse box. Their is a weird green sticky substance everywhere and cant determine the source? Any ideas out there? Is it just water thats leaked in an reacted to the surroundings and turned green. There is a pressure equalizing vent in the same area that I think maybe source of leak

I think I'd be driving over to my MB dealer and have them take a look before I'd ask a bunch of users on a forum. But maybe that's just me.

Some of this bunch of users on the forum are MB mechanics who could arm the OP with what he needs to take to the dealership. Don't write us off so quickly...

I meant no disrespect to the community or OP. But honestly, if I had any goo visible in my car, it would be in the shop before I'd be asking a community of mainly users for advice.

That is my hope.

This 2017 Mercedes has already been off the road for 3 weeks since purchased

Oil Level sensor: Faulty and repaired twice. Oil level two low stop engine warnings (Car taken on truck back to dealer)
Catastrophic failure of both front lights at same time(All headlamps/indicators/DRL) while driving. Car again taken on truck back to dealer. Replaced all front lights in end and been fine since.
AMG Line rear spoiler flew off the boot on day of collection from dealer onto busy motorway. RIP AMG line spoiler (was obviously replaced FOC)
Now leak in boot.

Want to be armed with as much info as possible but your point of going direct to dealer is valid and its booked in but they cant see it for a week.

No offence taken. But my confidence in local dealer is low. They sent me on my way 3 times with lights that were not fixed. Finally had failure on a Motorway shortly before dark.

Wow, really sorry to hear that. I've been so lucky to have a really great dealer, with a very competent service department. I've been a long term customer for 23 years now.

Sorry you've experienced these issues. I hope your dealer is able to make sure the goo isn't an issue.
