Jerking Issue
I have a 2017 E300 for a little over a year now ( 1year 4months now) and the car has been good up till recently. Recently the car started to jerk while accelerating; I took it into the dealership and they scanned the engine and transmission but found nothing wrong with the car. They suggested I may have had bad gas (I use 93 and I mostly go to BP gas stations) and to change to a different brand of gas; so I did that but the issue persists. The dealer is going to take a 2nd look at the car tomorrow but if they didn't find anything the first time I wonder if they'll find anything this time.
I hope I can get this issue fixed; cause I fear if the jerking issue persists I can get into a bad accident. Has anyone had any issues with jerking? If so has, were you able to fix it?

They have been back and forth with Germany on how to fix mine. Apparently Germany determined that a batch of these "brains" (Again, I don't know the part number or name as they have never shared that with me but it is the electronic part that controls shifting) and I am not certain how many are in the batch as far and not sure how many cars are out there effected but there appears to be a large number of vehicles out there and owners have likely not picked up on this as of yet. Mine is a year old with 15,000 miles.
You might tell the dealer to investigate the electronic shifting of the car and see if that might be your problem. Mine is in the shop and won't even shift out of park at this point. They suggested dropping the entire transmission and replacing all of it...mechanical, components and all........I am suggesting that they buy back the car and return my down payment money and be done with it. Please keep us posted as you find out what is wrong with your vehicle. I hope and pray you are not about top have to deal with what I have been going through. Good luck. - Brandon
