E450 Delivery Dates

E450 Delivery Dates
Has anyone received a "meaningful" delivery date(s) for their E450 4Matic Sedan thats on order? My unit was built on July 29th and should be on land (Georgia) by now. Our dealer as of 10 days ago, had no estimate.

Just read through this thread as this topic has been thrashed for some time. The intel from most dealers is MB will release the E450 at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Probably not what you want to hear, but that seems to be what people are hearing:

Thank you for your feedback.... We tend to hear so many stories...and yes, I have heard 4th Quarter too. Tomorrow I will drop by my dealer and see what if anything new, they tell me. I will share the information as well....

The problem is MBUSA doesn't tell the dealers much. They know cars are on the way when they invoice them to the dealer. One of the latest Dealer Build Guides said 4th quarter and that's about as official as you can get from MBUSA.

Since it’s looking more and more like MBUSA steadfastly will not release my new E450 Convertible until the snows of winter start falling (perfect WX for a ragtop, right?), I guess the model car will have to do.
This is currently sitting on my desk... taunting me :-)

I'm glad you have something to entertain you until your car is released! They did a pretty good job with the interior on that model!
