2017 Pre Owned Availability
With the 2019s arriving at the dealers I thought I could find a certified pre owned 2017 E300 but am finding very little inventory available. Is this the norm for a 2 year MB ?
I'm in Florida. In looking on-line, there's a total of 3 available in 7+ dealers. Wanted a 2017 due to the new style but may have to rethink the purchase.
Thanks ! !

Most likely because many of the used newer vehicles of any brand are returned lease vehicles and most of those are on 36 month cycles. I bet next year you'd find a lot of them available as they get turned in.

Most leases are 3 year leases but there are a few 2 years leases. Anyway, I'd prefer a 2016 over the 2017. The 2016 was the last year for the E350. That had a 3.5l 302hp v6 instead of the 2.0l 240hp turbo 4 cylinder in the E300.

Found and purchased a 2017 that came off lease. Exact interior and exterior colors that we wanted with the addition of the Sport package. Did my research and seems I got a pretty good, not great, price on it. The refinements of the 2017 were more important to me than the engine size. Wife is happy and that's what it's all about ! !

2021 GLE350, 2021 E350 / Used to drive: 2019 E300, 2020 GLE350, 2019 E450 Wagon(s), 2017 E300 Sedan
I agree with what others have said - I have a year left on the lease of my 2017 E300. It will have about 15,000 miles on it by the time the lease ends next year. It's going to be a great used car for someone - I hope they enjoy it as much as I have.
My dealer has a ton of 2015 and 2016s, but very few 2017s other than service loaners at the end of their duty cycle. I think 6-12 months changes everything and there will be a ton of nice 2017s to choose from.

Was your online search done using mbusa or a broader search engine such as autotrader or cargurus?
A quick search (shown below) list quite a few, even some from MB dealers that should be CPO cars. Worth a look. Good luck.

Looking in the Baltimore area I see a number of 2018’s even. Very low mileage. I’m guessing these are loaner’s? If it’s CPO any problems with that?
