From lemons to lemonade
My wife and I went out to dinner last night and parking was was hard to find. I parked in front of a store that I have parked near before, but unfortunately I came back to see a cart up against my back bumper. I decided to wash and detail my car and to my delight the transference was light and minimal. PSA: Please return your cart to a designated area. Even the wind can move a cart and cause damage. Car is clean, I'm happy,
have a great weekend.

There's an old quote that seems appropriate when you see the inconsideration and laziness of people, especially, in shopping areas and it's this......."Hell is other people!" You did a great job removing the inconsiderate person's lazy deed and your car is stunning! I'm not a fan of green, but that green is really special. It's not available in the 2019 model year.

That's one nice looking car there. That interior shot is just awesome. Mind if I run it through my photoshop?
I am one of those 'cart returners' just for the record........guess someone had a party to go to.

The green was the ONE color my partner wanted. Had we found an E300 or E400 in that green with the options he wanted, I can tell you, I wouldn't be in my new E450. He'd never had agreed to trade out to the silver E400.

Glad your luck was better than mine. My car's first encounter with some bonehead's shopping cart ended up being $1,200 worth of panel-beating and paint blending. The cart hit too close to a style line and the dent was too irregular for PDR.
Nice car. I love the green, too! One of my all-time favorite cars was my 1975 Camaro that was a very similar green.

Glad to hear there was no damage. My 2 previous cars were Corvettes and they attract the worst element. People will park right up against you even though your in an empty part of the parking lot, and the real a-holes will pour soda or other stuff on your car. I've heard of other people having a trash can emptied in their car when leaving the top down. Some people just don't have any respect.

@OP, you have an attitude that I wish I could even fathom having myself. Good for you. You're literally a much better human being than I am. I would have lost my shi* and filed an insurance claim.
That literally would have ruined my day/week/month. I love cars too much, to a level that I know is unhealthy, but to each their own, I guess.
Seriously - congrats on your positivity. I'm seriously jealous.

Glad that the issue was waxed out. Sometimes, I truly believe that people see a nice car or truck and do things just to be a PITA or jealous. I have experienced similar conditions at various parking lots. Good luck with your E400.

heartbreaking photos at first but totally uplifting following the skilled TLC you applied
very inconsiderate behaviour - I too always return the shopping trolleys/carts to a designated area
btw, love the look of your car - the interior spec is an exact match for the car I've got on order ;-)

Great story. I have the same color and I don't like it very much. A lot of times the car looks blue and even black. The only time the green really shows through is in bright sunlight. Maybe it is better suited for California, but not New England.
