Panamericana or Diamond grill?
Between the two grills, do you think the Panamericana looks better or the Diamond? Should the Panamericana be offered as optional on all MB vehicles, or just certain ones? For myself, I like the grill on the GT models, but prefer the diamond type grill on others. What do you think?

I like the way they both look... but ultimately I have to side with the diamond grill. It's what I've got on my car (combined with the night package) so it's what I know, and I love the way mine looks

I think MB is doing it right. It belongs on the king of the heap, the 63 versions. People really pay up for the big power and should have a distinctive looking car. People who change the grill are making their car a "poseur". As much as I like that grill, I would not have it on my car.

I do not like the panamericana grill on sedans or the sedan based coupes and converts. It just looks out of place (in one thread somewhere on here a sponsor was promoting them and it was horrible on the sedans). It only looks right on the GT cars. But I do not like that diamond grill either on anything. That has been a huge sticking point for my wife and I not buying another MB already. It makes it look like the nose has some kind of disease. But it seems that a lot of the cars are getting it now. I like the bars across the middle best......................$.02

I think that makes the car look bigger and better than the original but I think a single thick style bar from the AMG looks best! I think I would add some wheel spacers to that and make it even better! It is a good looking car though.

I was looking for the grille with the camera under the star emblem and that is the only reason the assembly is protruding outwards
If the camera is above the star than it would be more flush with the bars
I just noticed it, so maybe I will order a new grille with the camera above the star

The emblem assembly is almost flat with the grille bars
But you loose one vertical bar and for me it seems not so good
So it is all about the camera dummy position

It definitely gives the car a different look. I like both grills, and if it were me, I'd interchange them occasionally....the best of both worlds.

FedM, I don't think the star protruding outwards is that much objectionable. But I agree, I'd hate top lose a bar for the dummy camera.
