noisy ride/tires?

MBWorld Fanatic!
I have a air compressor in the car. My issue with run flat tires is availability. I've had two flats in two years which required obtaining new tires. The first was no problem - MBUSA gave me a new tire on the same day. The second tire took a week to replace.

I have replaced my run flat tires with non run flat tires. Full size spare wheel in my trunk with an air compressor, low profile aluminum floor jack and tools. Best decision I have made. Run flat tires are a pain. Not all tire shops can even work on them because the sidewalls are so thick. They don’t have equipment capable of removing them from the rim.

Nitrogen is 3% lighter than my 78% Nitrogen blend (air). I doubt that will make a difference. Nitrogen does seem to maintain pressure with temperature change and over time a bit better. But I'd never pay a penny extra for it.

If you are a Costco remember you can have them replace the air with nitrogen. It’s much lighter and stabler than air and you don’t have the fluctuation of air pressure with the climate

I had the RF Pirelli Cinturato P7 and ditched them at 15000 kms for Vredestein Quadro Pro. The best tire I've bought in my 68 years!!
