Sorry, didn't mean to make my post (#45) confusing. I'm aware that the photo included in my post is of an S class preview.

Attached is a link that purports to be spy photos of the 2020 E class. Note that the COMAND wheel is gone and the new-style touch pad is shown. Those changes are consistent with cars that have the MBUX system rather than COMAND. Obviously there is no guarantee the new features will be on the production models. Personally, I don't understand the delay. If Mercedes can put it in the SUV models, why not the sedans?

Strange how in the article they got the engine HP wrong for 2019's, they quoted 2018 specs and the article was from Jan 2019 so they really didn't do their DD. I hope they don't go with that big tesla screen, I really doubt they will. Probably the interior won't look all that much different, just no jog knob and a 12.3 screen that is a touch screen lets hope.

Yeah, it's all very uncertain. I looked at several sites that claim to have spy photos of the 2020 E class. Although different sites, each seems to use the same set of photos, as evidenced by the red vertical line (I don't know the proper photographic term for that light refraction) appearing in all of the interior pics.

The facelift will be next year according to the dealers I asked. Mercedes is prioritizing SUVs because that is what customers want, SUV are more practical and for most more esthetically pleasing.

Going back to those "S" spy shots, did you notice those cheap looking, anemic vents? Can't imagine anyone forking over 6 digits for an interior looking that haphazard and bad.

So far, from what I've seen of the "E" class spy shots, it's beautiful interior isn't affected much....though I'm not crazy about the steering wheel change....let's just hope!

I ordered a 2020 E450 about two weeks ago. The car has a production start date of July 3.

I expect the 2021 facelift will bring mild hybrid tech to the four cylinder. the i-6 to replace the V6 in 450 models, and MBUX along with new bumpers and lights, and 2023 or 2024 will see a redesign and the W214 generation vehicle. Also hoping for the E-Class All Terrain to make it to the US... that would be awesome!

While I posted this in another thread, I didn't see it here, and because of the title, well, thought maybe I should. I've broken the MY20 DOG into 2 parts, because it's too big to upload in its entirety: non-AMG, and AMG. This is a month or more old, but haven't gotten anything newer.
