Crown Eurocars (Pinellas Park, FL) Reputation/Reviews
I expect to purchase a Certified 2019 E450 Sedan from Crown Eurocars in the next few days. The car has 2,143 miles, clean Carfax and $8k under KBB. The car is loaded (original sticker $79,700) and the only option missing I would have wanted is the HUD. As a certified car, there is an addition 1 year warranty on top of the 4 year standard warranty. Has anyone had any experience with this dealership?

Thank you - Thank you! I will sleep better tonight. I was puzzled why there was a circle similar to a tire ring in the trunk pic. I was concerned the owner maybe raced the car and it seemed odd why someone would only keep a new car six months. I asked the salesperson however no answer was received. If you don't mind me asking, what car did the previous owner purchase?
Thank you again, I feel much better after reading your response.

Thanks again.
Crown claimed there was no spare tire when traded in and that the car comes with run flats.
I said ok. thanks for checking, however then "please make sure the car has a "comfort box" in the the trunk.
Maybe the salesperson was telling a "fib" or simply did not know and gave a BS answer!

I wouldn't worry about anything (including what was stated in the above post). You're getting an always garaged (until 2 weeks ago) superbly looked after car and at a great price (including 4.5 years of unlimited miles warranty which you can extend an other 2 years, for extended CPO I would contact Jeff Jackson at Tofel Motors, his info is posted on these boards somewhere).

To the OP, be careful and make sure you've got everything in writing. I've known several who have not had the best experience with Crown.
My dealer is Mercedes of Tampa Bay, which is one of the highest volume MB dealers in the country. I have NEVER had anything other than stellar experiences with them.
That said since a member here knows the car you're buying and if the price is good, I'm sure you'll be happy. One comment you made was about the dealer telling you the car came with RFT. Mercedes cars come with RFT these days, as do most BMW and Audi cars. Make sure you check to ensure what tires you're getting on the car, as I would expect them to be run flats, even if the previous owner had a spare in the trunk. Unless the previous owner changed the tires after purchase. If they did change the tires, you'll need the spare or at least some fix-a-flat solution at all times.

Good car choice. The comfort, performance, reliability are great on this model and you will be well pleased with your purchase. I have two E450's and have been very happy with the cars.

I wouldn't trust them. They rank as the sleaziest dealer in the area. I went to the once for service on my E55. They wanted to charge me $2,500 for a new air matic strut. Lokey Motors in Clearwater, FL a few miles away diagnosed the issue and repaired the problem for almost nothing. The problem was a blown fuse for the compressor.

I bought a custom-order 2015 E350 from them. The first time I set foot on the lot, the saleshole wouldn't even show me a car unless I was willing "to buy today." A few months later I went back and had a much more pleasant experience with a new salesperson (who is no longer there... we've talked since he's left there and he's a good man and was very honest with me about the dealership). Did the deal. Everything seemed decent. Except the car was an absolutely unreliable POS. They replaced 9 batteries in 2 years. All under warranty, BUT they refused to say there was anything wrong with the car. HVAC never worked properly (would go to full heat by itself...in the middle of Florida summer), radio was replaced 3x. Multiple other systems replaced. Car refused to start many times. Dealership damaged the car twice and refused to replace parts, instead insisting on patching them. Dealership had the car for 2+ months straight at one point yet refused to help me with MBUSA in getting a replacement.
MB Bonita Springs has been just the opposite -- right on top of things. MBUSA still is stuck in the 1980s, but at least MB Bonita's been very up-front and honest about things with me, and was willing to fight with MBUSA when necessary to make things work.
