Exclamation Upgrade / Retrofit Steering Wheels MY 2019

Hi guys !

I have bought a Mercedes W213 E200 from 2019 but with the old heated Steering wheels TT_TT (see in attachement the screen) The sellers f**** me and at the end it was a final 2018 production model MY2018 TT_TT.
I want the new steering wheels so I founded a russian site that sell's module to fit with the actual system and the brand new AMG version of steering wheels ... Problem I have to code the airbag :/

Here is what the guys said : "After installation AirBag coding is required of ORC module (in W213 cars from 2018 MY only one airbag stage is used instead of two). Coding can be performed with VEDIAMO software."

I precise that I have heated option and distronic on the column of the steering.
It's not a problem for me if I lose heated option but I need to know how can I do this

Thx guys
My actual ugly SW.

My dream

I founded this company that sell's module for car but you need to code airbag :/
https://carsystems.com.ua/mb-product...eel-adapter-en

Also this guys from Romania do the retrofiting https://www.mbretrofit.ro/product/co...lan-w213-w238/

And this guys sell "plug & play" but you also need coding so it's not really P&P and more than this the price is LOL --"

On the same boat as you... Elebest from singapore was first resistant to help but then were willing to help with extra charges. They said they will charge me more than their published price online; when i said that i'll be doing the coding myself so it may warrant a discount they actually said they don't care that i'll do it myself. I actually thought we were lost in translation Kind of made me feel like i had to beg for it to be done although i'll be paying and do the work myself. Not friendly at all and they probably have enough customers in Singapore to bother with overseas.

So yeah dead end again..

Nothing my friends, I founded a company in Germany that do the service but it's cost 1500€ without the price of the piece. So 2500/3000€ for changing a steering wheels I think it's too much.
If you are interested I can give you the contact.

There is also a guy from Singapore that do that... I come 1 or 2 times per year in Europe for some command.

E220d AMG Cabriolet
Any coders in the UK (preferably London or surrounding counties) that can code my car to tell it that I have now fitted a single stage airbag (following completing this retrofit)?

The problem will be that with the new design the distronic/cruise control controls move from a stalk to the wheel. Also from MY19 upgrade the active cruise control brought in self braking for roundabouts and other things so this might be a bigger job than you would think it needs to be?

For those of you with 2017 and 2018 E class models that aren't looking to upgrade to the 2019 setup with the different cruise control and what not, I am selling my rare flat bottom wheel and leather airbag here:

I take it you upgraded yours. I am looking to upgrade mine but not certain what it all entails. The correct part number for the steering wheel with the cruise control on it with heat if that’s possible and in nut browns to match the interior of my Luxury model. The the new gear shifter column with electric steering wheel adjuster

Retrofit steering wheel

Hello, I have an E220D 67 reg coupe. I’ve recently retrofitted my steering wheel. I have managed to fit it on but none of my buttons are working and Mercedes are telling me they don’t do retrofit coding.. how can I resolve this issue? Anyone in the Uk do coding on steering wheel so I can get my buttons to work?? Thank you

Any update on this.?

Hi.
I know I'm a bit to this thread.. But doing the same thing or trying to..
Wondering if anyone manages to swap the qwhll and get the buttons working.? My car also has adaptive cruise and lame assist where the wheel vibrates... Will this still work.?
Thanks.
