Hi i bought Mercedes e-class 2016 220d first registration march 2016 but i cant make calls through voice command sign on my steering wheel. If i press voice command button it takes me straight to navigation for command. I spoke to Mercedes dealer they said it should work. Please help me

 

Try pressing the voice button for longer?

 

Yes i did try pressing button for long and twice as well. But it goes to Navigation and ask me to speak for command.

 

Do you have a W212 or W213 model?
Is your cell phone paired with the car?

 

Yes my phone is connected and i can call by selecting name manually but not vis voice control

 

Have you tried starting with the command "Telephone"? It sounds like you're in Navigation mode and need to switch the voice control to Telephone mode.

 

I tried to fix. But if you can guide me i will do accordingly

 

Press the button and say "Telephone." Press it again and say "Call ..."

Please send me how to connect phone and voice command. Phone is connected even i can see phone contacts on the vehicle screen but unable to make calls by pressing the voice control system. When i press this button it tales me to straight to navigation.

When i press button it straight takes me to navigation and ask for to give command to nevigate but not to the telephone

 

I get that, but have you tried saying "Telephone"??????? If so, what does it do?

 

When i say telephone or say “calll” it stays same on navigation mode

 

I think you need to let the dealer look at it.

 

Its too expensive to diagnose
