Description: Daimler AG has determined that on certain C-Class (205 platform), GLC-Class (253 platform), E-Class (213 platform), CLS-Class (257 platform), GT (290 platform) and G-Class (463 platform) vehicles, certain front seat belt buckles might not have been manufactured according to specification. A correctly fastened seat belt could be erroneously detected as not fastened. The driver would be made aware of this circumstance by a warning symbol in the instrument cluster as well as an acoustic warning signal instantly upon the start of the drive. If the driver were to ignore these warnings, neither the electric (PRE-SAFEù-function) nor the pyrotechnic tensioning would be activated in the event of a crash with activation of the restraint systems. Thus, the full effect of the restraint system could be impaired. As a consequence, the risk of injury for the front passengers would be increased. As a precautionary measure, Daimler AG, via its Mercedes-Benz service partners, will check the relevant seat belt buckles in the affected vehicles and replace them if necessary.

2016 213 e220d amg premium plus recall, UK
HI, I went in for a replacement fuel recess and fuel flap cover this week to be told that they had a notice to check the Drivers Airbag and seat tensioners etc. They only managed to check, I assume; the airbag so I have to re book to check the seatbelts side of the recall. It's just as well I had broken my fuel flap door and cover isn't it? ;-p
