Trunk does not open
Hello guys,
I hope you all are doing good. The trunk does not open neither by the trunk handle nor with the door button on the driver's side. The only way to open trunk is with the mechanical blade. To make it more interesting, we can also open the trunk with the Mercedes diagnostic tool (Xentry) when we test/activate the trunk lock actuator. Do you experience like this? What might the problem be?
Any advice will be appreciated.

Check the valet switch in the glove compartment. It is on the left side of the glove compartment If this switch is activated many functions opening the trunk are not available.

As a last resort I sprayed some WD40 in the latch. Shouldn't hurt. I also ordered a manual, CDs. Hope that will get me some info.
