Replacement Wiper Blades?

Definitely replace the blades, Bosch O E wiper blades are a great alternative to the MB wiper blades. What I have noticed is sometimes the edge of the rubber tends to stiffen up and cause the skipping or if the car just sat and the wipers weren’t used much. Highly doubt it would be any other issue with the glass it’s self.

My blades are 18 months old and the indicator is starting to show yellow. Wipers still work fine. Is yellow the final color, or does the indicator change to red when blade replacement is recommended? I just got a set of OEM blades (no way I'm paying dealer for installation) and I'd like to hold off replacing them until its really necessary.
