Dealer recommended service different than corporate Mercedes?
- Service 8. Rear axle: Change oil
- Service 20: Automatic transmission: Change oil and oil filter
- Replace engine air filter
- Replace spark plugs
I have generally done my own basic maintenance on all my vehicles, but I've been apprehensive with my first Mercedes. It's a bit of a different animal. I want to do all the stuff that should be done, but not do a bunch of silly extra stuff. Any ideas?

Generally, the dealers do a good job of maintenance by the book.
Just bought my self 2018 E200 with Sports Edition Pack in Australia, which is a really beautiful car.
Just trying to find the Service interval information and this is no where to be found.
I have tried to request for this information through the dealer and been told it's all electronic. (Which is kind of bull **** in my opinion)
They told me that, as usual, there are intervals of A and B and that's it. No information on what what gets done on A or B.
Any how, came across this post and found the documents attached.
I assume the first attachment is for countries with low dust levels and I am looking to follow this intervals. (As Australia Victoria is pretty much low in dust)
First of all, just like to confirm with you guys if any one know the none 4matic 9G transmission is 725.0?
And if it is, the transmission fluid and filter change is every 125K km? And there is no interval date to it? (for 725.0) Is this correct?
Lastly, does the non 4matic require rear axle change of oil? Does it even have one?
To be honest, I wouldn't be comfortable waiting till 125K KM to change the transmission oil and filter change. Would be more keen on around 80K KM?
Any suggestions would be greatly thankful.

Not sure what your last question is. Yes, RWD cars have a rear axle. But fluid changes are only required for limited-slip rear axles. It's not really a 4matic issue. But I would suspect a standard RWD model doesn't have a limited-slip rear end.
Yeh.. thats what I thought. RWD doesnt have limited-slip. So Can ignore that part..
That pretty much answers all the questions.
By the way, every thing in the car is awesome.. except that there is a rattle in the ceiling when the pano sunshade is open.
Might need to get it checked by the dealer.
