Battery tender hardwire locations

Question for everyone who has a battery tender on their vehicle - how do you have it attached? Do you pop the hood and hook it up via the alligator clips directly to the battery posts every time? Or has anyone hard-wired it with a connector somewhere other than the engine bay? For logistical reasons it's a little hard for me to get under the hood when the vehicle is parked in my garage. In a previous vehicle (Jaguar XKR) I put a CTEK Comfort Panel on a side wall in the trunk which worked great - I'd like to replicate or approximate that setup if I can.

All ideas welcome! Thanks!

Interesting dilemma. If you could use a fuse tap on a live circuit and connect wiring then mount the tender out of sight I suppose would work well but I really believe best to use the clips as temporary rather than permanent somewhere. I use several battery tenders on show cars but simply unclip when needed to load the car for an event

Not thought about hard wiring. But I parked nose first to garage and have CTEK inside and run connections to battery under bonnet on latch

In your setup do you have to pop the bonnet in order to plug it in? Any chance for a picture?

yes - I do need to leave the bonnet on latch but CTEK is indoors. Picture attached.
