ANDROID AUTO CONNECTION
Does anyone have experience with Android Auto on the 2017 E300? Even though it's listed in the manual the dealer is telling me that it is not compatible. I hooked it up with my Nokia 8, however when i try to use Waze I am getting a message that there is no phone connected. I was able to get on the internet on the car monitor however. Can anyone help?

Yes to all the above. When i go to connected cars in Sttings my car doesn't show up. I also have it checked to Add new cars to Android auto. It shows Accepted cars - none, Rejected cars - none.

I have no trouble with AA with my Galaxy S 9. It is most likely your Nokia phone causing the issue. Nokia is not on the compatibility list.

Also check the USB cable (preferably use the one that came with the phone, not a generic lower-quality one). I have personally seen AA not work (but USB media on the same port worked fine) just due to the cable. Switched cables, then AA worked fine.

Indeed, same problem here with a "not so good" UDB cable, it did not work, other one it did at once.
