The only car to be confirmed to have it is the new S-Class.
There is no official word on MBUX gen 1 getting support.

Android Auto wireless works with wifi. As such it works with all w213 models. That said, it is Car Play that does not work wirelessly with the W213.

There is no support for Android Auto wireless in the W213. I'm not sure what you're referring to.

I'm wondering is it even posible with hardware implemented into car. If yes, so maby there is chance they will turn on this function.

Sorry, my wife's W212 has a wireless AA add-on so I thought it was available for the W213. It isn't.

Mirror Link should work as well as AA.

No, the head unit can't support wireless Android Auto. It will take a more modern head unit.

The most fundamental hardware issue that the W213 head unit has in this regard is that the hotspot only supports 2.4 GHz. Android Auto wireless requires 5 GHz. That's why a firmware update couldn't add the feature.

It's actually a little more complicated. Apparently the "low-end" MBUX CAN support it, but it has to be coded on. On mid-high MBUX, it's unclear. The hardware may be there, but MB remains mum on the topic.

The low-end MBUX head added 5 GHz wifi support.

Really? What a strange choice.

The high model has a more powerful GPU. The unit installed depends on what options you choose. To get the high model, you need to equip the AR navigation feature.

In 2020 the Sprinter outsold the E Class by about 3 to 1 in the US. Where I live one sees Sprinters more often that other MB's.

That's for wired Android Auto. There's an asterisk if it also supports wireless. No MB models have the asterisk.
