2021 E350 Rear Seat Removal (Help!!!!)

Hello everyone,

I've bought a set of covers for all seats in my E350 2021, and in order to put the cover for the rear seat, I need to take it out. Watching many videos on youtube, it seems so easy that we just need to find the switches inside the holes under the seat and try to click/press them, then the seat detaches easily. However, with the new form of 2021, I think Mercedes changed it, I couldn't find any hole/switch under the seat at all. Please let me know if you know how to remove 2021 Rear Seat.

Thank you,
Huy

Maybe I'm not understanding this correctly, but for the pre-fl w213 there isn't a switch or anything that you need to press to remove the rear seat bench. Just grab the bench on either side, pull forward/towards you, and lift.

was able to get the rear seat, headliner, and upper deck out just fine. it's actually not that complicated at all. rear seat bottom just pulls straight out. the side bolsters have one torx bolt you remove and they pop out. the c pillar covers you pop off the airbag insert, and they basically yank out. if you put the clips on the car side, they go in very easy and snap back like stock. headliner you can then slide out

i found possible rattles all over and dynamatted the **** out of the upper deck, third brake light, connectors (to not vibrate against stuff), rear seats, etc... the biggest source of rattle was the headliner. there is like a baffled spacer which had come partially loose. i put a sheet of dynamat between it and now it can't vibrate anymore. the worst offender was simply the end at the rear of the headliner which would vibrate against the glass and clips. i just jammed like 3 microfiber cloths up there and it's all gone. car sounds fabulous now but the problem is now with the rear rattles fixed now i'm hearing slight ones on the front

Hello,
I'm trying to remove the rear seat in my 2018 E400 coupe and I can't get the seat bottom to unhook from the back. I try pushing back but the side bolster keeps me from lifting up. I assume you have to get the seat bottom out before you can remove the side bolster?

i don't know if the coupe is different, but the seat bottom comes straight out in my 2020 sedan. once that's out you can remove the torx bolt for the side bolsters. the first time i tried to remove the seat it felt like it didn't want to come out so i chickened out as i was worried to break something. the next time i just pretty much yanked it and it comes right out. you can see in the following video how he does it, though some of that part is abbreviated

Thanks. I've seen that video. Yes the coupe is different. I can reach back under the seat and feel the metal slot welded into the bottom of the chassis but I can't get the seat bottom to go back and up to release the bottom from that hook in the chassis. I've been messing with this thing for hours!!!! I have a 2008 E350 and I've had the back seat bottom out to replace the fuel pump. That was a breeze!!!
