Checking VIN, please help
Hi all

I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand w213, can anybody help with the VIN checking of this one : WDD2130802A908841
I'm concerned about the suspension type.....

The vin is not listed or incorrect on several sites that I tried including at mbworlld.com. The vin could be a forgery. Make sure that the vin is correct.

The 'lastvin' website is a great resource, however, I just wanted to provide a caution that newer autos may not yet be searchable. I looked up a couple of 2019 W213s and got results. For two 2020 W213s I got no results.

From a different VIN lookup website, I see the VIN is for a 2002 E-Class, which would be a W210 model.

That w213 is a 2020 model, l have the same problem, the VIN check doesn't work..... Perhaps too new??

I've searched non-US data bases with the same "invalid" results. IMO the number in incorrect. It could also be forged for whatever reason.
If one assumes that most of the VIN is correct (a big IF), it would map to an older 2002 vehicle. The 10th digit must be an "L" for model year 2020.
