Question About Automatic Transmission Types

The information I have says to replace the automatic transmission oil and oil filter with every six years. Although my car is not six years old, I like to be prepared. The oil that is recommended by Mercedes is either AP27.00-P2702B or AP27.00-P2702BE depending on the transmission. My question is how do I tell which automatic transmission I have.

I have a 2018 E400 4matic that has 9 forward gears.

Another Maintenance Question

The service sheet for 213's states that with engine 276 (which I have) and transmission 725.0 (which is not my transmission), the transfer case oil needs to be replaced every 6 years. However, it doesn't say anything about transmission 725.048, which is what I have. With engines 177 and 256 and transmissions 725.09, 725.041/045 and in all cases, 4matic, the transfer case oil needs to be replaced every 5 years. So, when should I replace the transfer case oil?

The answer is in your own post "With engines 177 and 256 .... and in all cases, 4matic, the transfer case oil needs to be replaced every 5 years."

The phase "in all cases" applies to transmissions 725.09, 725.041/045 -- not to all cars having 4matic, regardless of transmission type. Sorry for the confusion.

.
FWIW my 2018 MB W213 maintenance worksheet indicates 60,000 miles or 6 years.
