Pls help with my Transmission Problem

Pls help with my Transmission Problem

Recently I discovered that my gearbox occasionally has strange problems. When I try to put the gear to D, it will automatically jump to neutral. If I continue to flick the gear lever several times, the car will start in D3, and the gear will not be lower than D3 in the following driving. This situation occurs irregularly, but it usually occurs at a certain point in time after I frequently start and shut down the engine (the recent trip requires me to go to different places in a short period of time). Does anyone know what the problem is? There are no fault lights and this situation will disappear when I drive the next day.

Can you tell me what was the problem? Cuz' i have the same issuse?

Dealer replaced some transmission parts (transmission valve body? or shell? & gearbox mounts), don't remember exactly what was replaced but it cost me about $4000+. And if you are out of warranty then you need to pay for the diagnosis first. hope it helps.

In our MB shop dealer wanted to replace complize gearbox and they told me that the price is about 7000

i found someone else to look for diagnose and he found that something is wrong with electric...
and now i wait to call me to fix the problem and then i will is if it's really this problem

You won't believe it. In Mb work shop they didnt see that the transmission oil isn't the right one when they change it (120 000)and that the oil is leaking somewhere so the oil start to burn the electronic on my transimission.
So i had to change the complite transmission.

He told me its better to change the oil every 60 000km
no matter what does mb service say.

Now my MB e class work and i'm happy to have it

And the MB work shop won't touch my car anymore.

In our country the mb work shop they just want money and they dont know how to fix cars.. and i see now because everytime they have a car there, after one week something was wrong with my car.

First of all, did you use a scanner to scan if there are any codes stored? If there are codes, what is it.
What year is your vehicle, what is the mileage on your vehicle, when did you last changed the transmission fluid and filter, what ambient temperature does this happen and what temperature of the transmission fluid does it happen? Do you notice any leaks? How is the transmission fluid condition/level/ any metal shavings?

yeah i have booked my car they will run star on it so far i m getting code P073E so the control unit pressure sensor is faulty need to change control unit around £400 plus labour, this is my self diagnosed

Darn sorry to hear about it being burned, did you get a reman or a new transmission?
