2020 E450 Wagon
I typically don't load up my car to max weight but I run me tires are 36 all around all the time. Seems to me to be a good balance between feel and performance.

Ditto here: I run my at 35 psi all year round. I get excellent mpg, tread life 7/32" at 21,000 miles and a wonderful ride!

Remember to check your pressure COLD: I do fine first thing in the morning in the garage. I have an excellent air compressor so putting in air is a breeze!

I also like you have the standard 18" wheels

People who dump a $84,000. car by trade in take a huge depreciation cost. They dump the car most often because there is some problem or collisions that cannot be rectified. Don't trust CarFax. Many collision shops will not report damage to CarFax if the owner greases his palm. So there is no record of the damage.
I would not advise buying a high end use car with little mileage since it has RED FLAGS of imminent problems and headaches.
Buyer of used vehicles BEWARE. Caveat emptor always appliesr.

Thx, but not a factor if you are talking about my transaction and about my car.

So there is no record of the damage.
Got detailed reports on the damage, from CarFax and from an another party who does this for a living.
A front fender was changed, the damage was classified between minor and medium:
I am as skeptical as anybody, the car looked good in my book, and it now resides in my garage.

Bought the E-450 in West Palm Beach, Florida where money is not important and where a huge depreciation on a Trade-In
is not significant: The Trump Mar-A-Lago and the Bernie Madoff's clients neighborhood.
Not too concerned, great car.

Cool, 35 psi sounds good, and yes of course, cold tires.
(Compressor in the garage also)

My question was the huge discrepancy between actual pressure and what MB considers "Normal"
Scratching my head, do I need a "flash" reset of the computer, or a calibration procedure of the Tire Monitoring System?
Where is Konigstiger when you need him?

Funny you should mention that. I spend part of each winter in West Palm Beach and was always struck by the number of E class wagons I saw there. I remember commenting on that to a lifetime resident of the area, and she said that there's an abundance of Mercs because the uber rich drive their cars for a year or so and then trade them in for the latest model; ergo, there was great availability of pre-owneds in West Palm and the prices were relatively good. I planned on shopping for one when we returned in the winter of 2021 but the Pandemic got in the way and we never made it down, so I bought mine up north instead.

Same here, never load my car up and don't go fast anymore.
36 psi should be good.
Curious why the seller, a high end dealer in BMW and Rolls Royce, among other brands could not get the tire pressure right.
How hard can it be...?

Ha, a prime market for MB Wagons, like South California.
Probably the Lady of the Mansion drives these wagons.
After I bought my E-450 Wagon last week In West Palm Beach, I hit the driver's seat #1 memory button and almost got crushed, the previous owner/driver was very petite, most likely the wife and she was not a fat one...

Even crazier on the other side of the bridge (Palm Beach). Drove to a book store in my Audi A4 Allroad and found a parking spot between a Panamera and Maybach. Felt like the little stepbrother who shouldn't even be there lol.

Yeah, lots of "Old Money" up there, until Madoff cleaned out quite a few of them, sad..
A bit swanky here in Fort Lauderdale as well, lots of big boats and fast cars, but not many MB Wagons, I had to go
45 miles North to buy "Class", glad I did.

They seemed to be plentiful in south Florida. In 8 months up here in the north, I don't think I've seen 4 MB wagons other than my own, and I drive through affluent areas on a daily basis. They're like unicorns.

2023 GLE450, 2021 E350 / Used to drive: 2019 E300, 2021 + 2020 GLE350, 2019 E450 Wagon(s), 2017 E300
Two wagons in my neighborhood, but the other is an E63, so that's an even more special thing... :-)

2020 E450 Wagon
I've lived in Austin TX area for seven years now and only seen two, a W213 like mine and a W212 wagon. That is it.

Probably because a kid is the one doing tire pressures and he looked at the fuel filler door and figured use the max value not knowing why/when to use it?

You can set/reset what is considered normal.
Look on page 402 for resetting the TPMS. Under the onboard computer: Service > Tires > Swipe down or hold. It will ask if you want to use the current pressure as new reference values.

Also, see page 397 for the section about tires and pressures.

Great and much appreciated.
Needless to say I had not gotten around to checking the Owner's Manual, you saved me the trip to page 402 and page 397.

Speaking of E-Wagon Demographics, this article from Car And Driver mentions who buys theses cars.

(I don't fit the profile: Big ugly ex Harley guy with a shaved head, ex Merchant Marine Sailor, ex Alaska Bush Pilot, no Old Money for sure.)

I read somewhere that the E450 wagon is typically purchased by MB most affluent customers and they own multiple MB vehicles in addition to the E450 wagon.

Ha, that is a very important endorsement. Mine is also a dog hauler, but mine likes the back seat (protected with a nice dog cover).

Lola is very cute, I have a VW Golf wagon that I use to haul my dogs around and as a grocery/errand getter and bought my wagon to replace it. I love it so much I have been unable to allow my dogs in the wagon so for now keeping the Golf
