Probably paid too much as the used (and new) markets are crazy.
This Wagon only have 6,650 miles on it, almost a virgin.
9 years since I sold my 211 E-500 Wagon, loved it but she was expensive to own and to run.
I will probably have questions left and right, but will wait until I pick it up tomorrow.
This is the wagon, love at first sight.
Are there any dedicated E-400/450 Wagon chapters here, or is this it with the E213 models?

Thx, good to be back.
Had a leased 2015 BMW 328 Diesel wagon in the meantime, 3 years, and bought wifey a new 2013 Cadillac CTS Wagon for her birthday back then.
(It was ok, but not great, it was gone after 15 months)
Also had a rare German Wagon, an Opel Insignia Wagon, sold in the US as a Buick Regal TourX. (called the T-Rex among owners)
Loved it, but had to come back to the MB for some reason.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
It was interesting with the Tour X. I looked at one back in 2017. It was as if GM copied the MB e400 wagon. Not really a bad car, although just a 250 hp turbo 4 banger.

Great looking car - never seen a wagon in silver with the night package. Looks unique. Congrats!

I had it for 5k miles and 18 months, sold it this fall as used car prices was way up, got almost what I paid. (Free car for a year and a half)
The dimensions and the engine was almost identical to the Volvo V90, but the Opel was "lighter" than the Volvo and even more so than the MB E-400/450 Wagon.
Again, I enjoyed the T-Rex, for the price it was a great car, but it made me nervous: They are as rare in the US as **** on a bull.
Parts are almost non existent with long waits, especially after Corona/Covid came to our shores.

How can you tell what the Night Package is, or looks like?
(i have not done my home work yet, this was an impulse buy today: Car looked good, lots of equipment and "packages", but not
sure yet what is what..Night Package? Sounds good)

Night package blacks out window trim, roof rails and wheels and I think mirror caps go from body color to black. Very cool on a wagon.

I also have the same car with the same color combo/night package. It was the combo I was looking for.
I bought mine with 27K miles this past February, before the prices on used cars skyrocketed. It was at an Audi dealership, and someone had traded it in.
I'm up to almost 37K, and no issues, except for a cracked windshield, which was replaced by my local dealer.
I've been driving wagons/large hatchbacks since my 1992 Saab 9000, and I'm really enjoying the car. We've taken several long trips hauling my 80lb and 60lb dogs, and plenty of room for them and all our stuff.

Curious what you paid before the prices went up? (PM if you prefer?)
I bought my car yesterday at a BMW dealer, it was also a trade-in, but low miles at 6,650.
They wanted $65K and I walked out, but haggled on SMS for 3 hours, I needed a price out the door with a 4/48,000 warranty and sales, tax etc.
It came in well North of $70K, stupid money for a used car, but was able to bring it down a bit, easy deal: Cash money, no trade-in.
Still serious money, but the stock market has been good to us, so why not, live only once and all that..

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Good luck with it. I think you will be impressed when you put it into Sport Plus mode, these car perform very nicely. Let me know if your looking for a dinan tuner chip, I can sell you one for $110.00 shipped. Ya you're right about parts on the Tour X. A buddy of mine bought a wrecked one and parts are nearly impossible to find. He's been trying to get that car together for the past year. It's a shame as the car only has 4K miles on it and is a 2018 Essense top of the line model.

Great car and great colors, check out these wheels, I think they we would look great on the car, a throwback to the old AMG mono-blocks.

Ok guys, thx for the tuner chip and wheel suggestions: Not going to modify this car for a while, need to get used to it, have the MB dealer print out all records, study the manual, etc.
Quick Question:
Air vents on the B pillars are noisy, right behind my head, I did close them with the thumb wheel, but still noisy. How to shut off air flow to the aft zone?
(Have not started with the manual yet, been busy all day and finally got the Kraut Wagon home.. Not a slur, rather an affectionate nick name)

Another question: The wagon has 4 brand new Hankook tires on it, looks like 245/45/18R.
1) Are these the same as the original tires?
2) Are Hankooks any good?
Thx

Here in South Florida we need "Rain Tires", don't know anything about these Hankooks, but they are brand new and looks like performance tires.
Will keep them unless I discover any bad news.
Always heard Michelins are the "Best Tires" and may go that route in 3-4 years.
All good. (for now)

Another question:
I need an aft floor liner.
Found this Weather Tech, looks good.
Any similar product with a good fit?

My Eagle Sports have been good for Run Flats.
I realize there is no spare under the aft floor..Is there a compressor and a bottle of "Fix-A-Flat" ?
I know, should have looked, but the day ended up being full of Honey Dues...
Wifey drove me 45 miles to pick up the Wagon.
I promised to stain the fence this afternoon and she promised to hit the sea food store, then cook a good dinner.
I also had an eye doctor appointment somewhere in there.
Really stoked about my new Wagon and looking forward tearing into the systems and the manuals.
Should be off tomorrow, except for a Honey Due re-caulking a bath tub seam. 😳

Noticed the paint and trim was pretty dry, she needs a wax job for sure.
Coming up tomorrow between the honey dues..
I would like to recommend this product:
I am a boat guy running a small charter operation in South Florida.
The best wax I have found is this product, it holds up to sun and salt water in Florida and the Bahamas for 3-4 months in the summer on boats,
on cars and motorcycles twice as long.
I use it now on all my vehicles and boats, so does my neighbors and friends.
(i do not have stock in the company, nor do I sell the product, just passing on info about a good wax/polish)
