2021 E450 All Terrain Wagon
Spoiler
The AMG guys seems to be super nerds, their cars are more than a hobby, an obsession really.
(Don't blame 'em, I would be there too if I had one)
In the meantime, the low key guys, the Classy Gentlemen Wagoneers, need a separate chapter, or Forum if you will.
Lets give it a shot...

2019 E-450 Wagon
I love it! This thread is a lot more fun than the other I'm following -- bad 48 volt battery problems in the 2021 E450 line -- wagons, SUV's, sedans, etc. I actually wish I had bought the 2020 E450 wagon instead of the 2021. I went back and forth, back and forth, and ultimately opted for the All Terrain. I don't think the 2020's have the same problem.
Then we demand an Exclusive Wagon Chapter, no more excuses, no prisoners taken and by God, if Managment refuses our more than reasonable
demands, we all go on strike.
(Had to include this Good Night picture, Wagons forever..)

Here is a pic of a bumper protector I ordered from the UK. The German company that makes it wouldn't ship outside of the EU but they pointed to a distributor in the UK that shipped to the US.

I got my private and commercial licenses in Canada when I was living there and going to university. I mostly flew Cessna 172's but a close friend's father was the photographic editor for the Toronto Star which was the main newspaper in Toronto. He had a Mooney TC that had just about every option including weather radar. I flew that a few times and it hauled @ss. It was one of the fastest piston singles back in the day, talking late 80's now. I've not flown PIC since mid 90's. How about you, do you have a license?

You have the night package which I would have liked but buying my car in Dec 2020 there were not many left so my options were limited. I wanted a silver car but only found one in California and they would not sell it to me, citing past complications with getting cars registered in Texas. My second color choice was white so found this one in Akron Ohio. They also gave me an excellent deal with 12% off MSRP. They were great to deal with, which is rear these days as most dealers are full of it.

That being said, did not have a lot of choices and happy with what I got.
(for what I paid for the Silver Midnight Special last week, I could have bought a new car, but they don't import them anymore, nowadays they raise em a few inches, apply body cladding around the wheels and calls it Cross Country. Volvo does the same, so does the Opel on their Insignia being sold in the US as the Buick Regal Tour-X, makes em look like a souped up Subaru.)
The MB Cross Country Wagon may be great for winter weather and the ski slopes, but I have worked all my live to get away from winters and will never go North of 26N between November and May.)
Yes, I have pilot license, been flying for a long time, 50+ types from Cessna 120s to Boeing 747s. Now retired and running my little charter boat and walking my dog, 64 years old, tired of a long life in the fast lane, these days Low And Slow does it for me.😎

Never owned one, but when I was a teen in Europe I worked at a BMW bike dealer's shop as an assistant mechanic.
At the time the R90S was the top dog of German bikes: I serviced them and did the post service check rides, also serviced the R75s and other models.
Thought I had the worlds best job for a 17 year old.
At the time I owned a West German bike called the Zundapp KS 100, a small but powerful 100cc with 13 HP or so.
Previous to the Zundapp I had an MZ ES, An East German 125cc two stroke, (nicknamed the worlds fastest vacuum cleaner for its looks)
Plenty powerful for a 15 year old and sure enough I crashed it
and barely survived.
Had a couple of Harley's when single in the early 90s, the favorite was a 1340cc FXR Super Glide.
Spent too much time at biker bars in Dallas however and ended up riding home at 02:00 way too fast. (Had the bike tuned up to be faster than stock)
Got married 1991 to survive and the Harley had to go, wifey did not tolerate biker bars and Daytona Beach biker meets and all that lifestyle, or lack of life style for long.
No bikes now, survived 48 years of fast living, walking my dog and running a slow charter boat on my old days now. All good, love it..
(Sorry to dilute the E-Wagon thread with tall stories, but I did request a separate E-Wagon chapter within this forum, if we get it, we can have various threads on other stuff, like bikes, fast women, flying, whatever.)
Have you flown anything really fun like an old fighter, piston or turbine?
Also flew a DC-3 on the beaches buying fresh salmon from the Eskimos, then flying the fish to the nearest cannery for processing.
Got all the fun and adrenaline I ever wanted back then.
Happy to have my E-450 Wagon in the garage these days, survived all my own adrenaline kicks and the highlight of the day now is to kill a six pack of Coors Light and then to sleep in my own bed.

Just 2nd your request!
I have been a member of Station Wagon Forums since 2014 - There are not a lot of "foreign" wagon owners on this forum mostly older USA wagons, but I still poke in there about once a week. much more relevant when I owned the 85 Colony Park.
PIC **** again

Only owned it for a few months in Texas 1980.
Bigger than Titanic and as thirsty.
I slept in the back, no hotel room needed.
Wish I was 24 years old again.,,
(The picture is as close as I could find on the net, not my car.)

Thanks, but so far, no cigar..
Question to everyone:
Can't connect to car play on my 2019 Wagon: (Had it on other cars for 10 years, nothing new to this operator)
Tried several different angles: The onboard system is trying to connect, but then it gives up...
Any ideas....?
