A Couple of things that I have used to solve this problem:
- Unplug the iPhone, turn off and then turn on again and plug in.
- Shut down system: there is a switch on the right side of the console. Wait 30 seconds and reboot

Will try that next.
I got an iPhone 7, a few years old but have all the updates, could that be a problem?

Tried to turn everything off, then back on, still no cigar..(Where is the diagnostic magic on my Kraut Wagon? )
Not so fast Flueger, I used my dinosaur iPhone on wifey's 2018 Volt a few days ago, hooked right up so the phone is still smart.
If the MB software needs a late model phone, it should say somewhere, I would think..
I'd say yes as the current phone is a 13. Might be time for a new phone

That shouldn't be the problem. I had an iPhone 7 audit and it worked fine for Apple Play; however, the iPhone 7 would not work with inductive wireless charging, so I needed to update to an iPhone 12.

Another thing: is your cable an Apple cable? In my other car I used a cable which was fine for charging but not for IPlay. When I switched to an Apple cable, everything was fine.

I will look for genuine Apple cable, but not sure if I have one. (Will try 'em all just to eliminate cable problems)
Thx Gentlemen, I will keep trouble shooting tomorrow. Now back from dinner and drinks and pretty useless..

It is universally agreed upon to always use the pressure in the fuel tank lid which is specific to your vehicle.
Many of us add 2/3 psi to the pressure on the fuel tank lid: this gives better mpg, better response and longer tread life.
Hope this helps!

The plot thickens however: My Wagon came with higher pressure in the tires than recommended by the tank lid.
Now I understand why: The tire pressure was as recommended by the door sill label..
Soo, both labels are there for a reason, I wonder what the reasons are? Confuse the owner?
Bingo, 100% success.

Couple of questions:
1> apple car play - Have now had my wagon for about 3 months, driven about 3,100 miles, blue tooth connection work terrific, stream audio is great, I'm retired so the 40+ emails I'd get while working are long gone. So, what is the benefit of using it?
2> I don't like ANY social media, Facebook included, don't use any of them, had to have Facebook when I owned the stores - it was great cheap advertising, why can't we figure out how to engage, on this forum, the other Wagon members to push for a Wagon Category?

In the meantime here is a Wagon chapter on Facebook, good to go.
(I am neither a fan nor a foe of social medial, including FB, it is just a tool in one of several tool boxes)

I am still with FB because it is a great way to stay in touch with friends and colleagues from all over the planet:
Not a fanboy. nor do I engage in the weird stuff hitting my wall, just using FB for my own purpose(s): No Asian Beauties, no Aliens, no Trump donations, no nothing
BS.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Started another thread about this but here's a good idea for some rear bumper protection. Easy to modify to fit, thin enough plastic so it's easy work with but thick enough to offer decent protection. Goes on with double stick 3m tape. Trying to find a rear bumper protector for the wagons short of ordering one from Europe for big bucks is nearly impossible. This was for another application but cut to modify it to fit. Seems to be on there really good and looks good. Slight scuffing on the upper cut but I did it quickly with shears. I'm sure if someone was a perfectionist and wanted to spend more time you could get a smoother cut.

I'm originally from South Africa
I sailed on South Africa some years ago, also flew there: We had a temporary crew base in Jo'burg while hauling towers and generators to Lagos in big cargo planes so the Nigerians could build their cell phone network. No idea why they did not use cargo ships instead of cargo planes, but it put food on the table for me and my crew.
I enjoyed Durban in 70s and 80s as merchant mariner, but it went downhill from then on,

My apologies, I forgot to respond to NorseWagon I believe on where I ordered the bumper protector I showed on my wagon.
It is called CKS Performance in the UK. They have so many accessories for our wagons that MB of America does not. One could spend a small fortune on their accessories and they are really good quality. My bumper protector is a aluminum base with the protector attached to that so its solid. The protector cost me about $120 but then so did the shipping and duties so not the cheapest but it is good quality and fits perfectly.
