To marshmallow to me. The black border around the grill looks weird, like the EQS. How many Mercedes logos do we need on a car? Logos integrated into the rear lighting? I’m getting more EQS than mini-S class with this.

Hmmm the side profile looks much more S-Class than longer C-Class for this generation of E-Class, that is nice but I am not sure what to say about the taillight design with that giant star (or those stars).

Mercedes/Mazda/Genesis
I don't care for the star graphic in the tails either, I prefer the matrix dot style of the S and SL. Nonetheless that is my only dislike so far from the leaks. I like that its leaning more towards the 223's design and has the upright grill design.

I guess that's MB's strategy of combining its ICE and EV lineup....turn everything into jellybean or melted bar soap shape. Those tail lights are awful.

No envy on my part. Mercedes never look imaginative, but at least sometimes they look elegant. This car is neither. Doesn’t come close to the W 213 wagon in luxury trim. An overall disappointment, but at least it won’t cost me any money.

Mixed feelings here, but overall, an acceptable evolution for me.
I was just at my dealership this past weekend trying to convince myself that the EQE looked better in person and the car would eventually grow on me. Thankfully we now have an option that maintains the integrity of the traditional E class to some extent.
Yes the grill and taillights are highly questionable; but I look forward to seeing the car in darker exterior colors which will make it more aesthetically pleasing.
Not a home run, but I’ll take the triple.

More S than EQV... me likey! An evolution not a revolution, but then how do you improve an already very nice design in the W213? I am not an S-class buyer or fan, so unlikely I upgrade to W214 anytime soon, but if/when that time comes, I can easily see myself in this car, of course with a panamericana grille to make it look more purfect for me.

Not that anyone asked:
I think the new design is elegant. But I also think my 2019 E450 is elegant and I love the full screen and wood in my car!
Just my $.02!
- I wash my own car. I can tell you that cleaning those multi spoke wheels will be a b*tch!
- I am a traditionalist: I prefer the luxury grill and star on the hood. If it become available in the US, I would opt for it.
- Hyperscreen or whatever Mercedes will call it: TMI!!! I cannot imagine a passenger watching a movie. The passenger is there for conversation and company - not to "veg" out on a movie
- Lack of buttons: Using buttons is intuitive: Using a screen takes your attention away from driving: you must LOOK at the screen to change functions. I fully realize that there is a cost savings by having as much as possible on the screen rather than buttons. I wonder when the first law suit will happen when the driver, passenger or driver/passenger of the other vehicles sues claiming distraction because of looking at the screen to change the temperature, the radio, etc.

2021 AMG E63s Wagon
Great car for my 2 kids now in their 20's as they transition from their "gifted" 2019 Buick Encore and 2021 Kia Soul in a few year$.

I think it looks great! E-Class for the first time has more S-Class vibes than C-Class. I think a few CLS owners might find this appealing too.
